It’s a platform built for clinicians to keep every credential and important document in one secure place, get your licenses primary-source verified, and connect directly with hospitals that are hiring — no agency in the middle. You own your file; you decide who sees it.

Menehune Health is currently invite-only. If you’ve received an invitation link, follow it to create your account. Once you’re in, a short guided setup gets your profile, availability, and a few required documents in place — then you’re cleared to browse opportunities.

Onboarding walks you through three things: your profile (specialty, location, experience), your availability, and a small set of required documents — your résumé/CV, a government photo ID, and your state license (plus a board certification if you’re an advanced-practice or physician role). You also attest a standard set of credentialing disclosures. Nurses add a birth year and the last 4 of their SSN so we can verify the license against NURSYS. Everything else is optional and can be added anytime.

Yes. Your documents belong to you: you can view, download, replace, or delete any of them at any time, and your credentialing packet saves as a single PDF you can take anywhere. Nothing about your file is locked to a hospital or an assignment.

That’s the whole idea. Your credential wallet holds licenses, certifications, immunizations, malpractice, background checks and more, organized into a simple checklist. Your file cabinet keeps the rest of your working life — Contracts, Timesheets, credential copies, and Pay & Taxes documents — plus a contacts address book. Upload once, and it’s there permanently, organized and easy to find from any device. No more digging through email, texts, and a folder on your desktop before every assignment.

When you upload a document, our AI classifies it and fills in the details for you — license numbers and dates, a malpractice policy’s carrier and limits, an eCard code on a BLS/ACLS card, the fields on a résumé, vaccine dose dates, lab/titer results, and more. It saves you the typing. If it ever misses a field, the file still lands in your wallet and you can correct or add anything by hand.

Yes. Every file you upload is yours — you can view or download any of them on demand, and you can replace a document or delete one entirely (which removes both the record and the stored file). Your credentialing packet can also be saved as a single PDF to keep or share.

When you’re hired through the platform, a contract record is created for you automatically and its dates show up on your calendar. Signed contracts, timesheets, and pay/tax documents live in your private file cabinet, organized by folder — so your work history is in one place, by date and facility.

Federal checks run automatically — your NPI against the national NPPES registry, and the OIG and SAM.gov exclusion lists — so a hospital can see you’re clear to work in federal healthcare programs. There’s nothing for you to click. For nurses, we also run NURSYS primary-source verification (below).

Yes — it’s included free with your account. Primary-source NURSYS license verification is something nurses often pay for out of pocket; on Menehune Health it’s on us. As a registered NURSYS (NCSBN) institution, we verify your license directly against the national NURSYS database. You enter only your birth year and the last 4 of your SSN — the license number, type, and state come from the license you already uploaded. Because NURSYS is an asynchronous system it lands within minutes rather than instantly, and the result appears in your profile on its own. We keep monitoring it afterward for any license changes — all at no cost to you.

A document being in your wallet means it’s on file and organized. Verified is a stronger, separate status that only comes from a primary source — an active NPI, clear OIG/SAM checks, or a NURSYS match. Newly uploaded credentials start as Pending until that primary-source check completes. Hospitals see this status honestly, which is exactly what makes your verified credentials credible.

You enter your own SSN last-4; it’s encrypted at rest and used only, server-side, to build the NURSYS request. It is never shown to hospitals and never sent back to your browser. The hospital never sees it.

It’s a single, print-ready PDF that pulls your federal verification status, your credentials with their source documents, your attested disclosures, and your experience into one place. You generate it from your wallet with one click and can save it or send it to anyone — including facilities off the platform — so you’re never re-assembling your file by hand.

No. When you apply to a posting — or a hospital finds you in the marketplace — they can review your professional profile and verified credentials to consider you, which is the whole point of being here. The packet is an extra, portable copy that’s yours, handy for facilities off the platform or just to keep. What a hospital never sees, in any case, is your private file cabinet or your SSN (below).

Menehune Health is built to be PII-aware from the ground up. We collect only the information we actually need, and sensitive data — like the last 4 of your SSN — is encrypted at rest and used only server-side to run your verification; it’s never returned to your browser and never shown to a hospital. All traffic runs over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, your documents live in private storage keyed to you and are reachable only through short-lived signed links, and access to the platform is invite-only. We don’t sell your data, and this is a credentialing platform — we don’t collect or store patient health records.

A hospital considering you sees your professional profile and the credentials you upload to get hired — your licenses, certifications, and verification status. That’s how they evaluate you, and it’s the point of being here. What they never see is your private file cabinet— your signed contracts, timesheets, pay & tax documents, and contacts — or your SSN. Those live in private storage scoped to you, and the hospital side of the platform has no path to read them; that boundary is enforced in code and guarded by automated tests that fail the build if anyone ever tries to cross it.

Yes — you’re in control. From your availability settings you can switch your profile visibility off at any time, which removes you from hospital search entirely. (Facilities you’ve already applied to or worked with keep their existing view.) You can also flag whether you’re actively open to offers or just passively available.

The reverse boundary holds too: a hospital’s private notes and internal review activity about a candidate are kept on their side and are not shown to you, just as your private files are not shown to them.

Security is built into the architecture, not bolted on. Access is invite-only and every request is authenticated on the server. Your documents live in private, owner-scoped storage reached only through short-lived links that expire; sensitive fields like your SSN are encrypted at rest and all traffic is encrypted in transit. The wall between your private file cabinet and the hospital side of the platform is enforced in code and continuously checked by automated tests — so your personal documents stay yours.

Browse open positions under Opportunities and apply in a click — your verified profile and packet do the heavy lifting, so you’re not re-typing your history for every application. Track everything you’ve applied to under Applications.

If your profile is set to visible, hospitals can discover you in their candidate search and reach out directly. They can filter by specialty, state, credential score, and availability — so keeping your profile and availability current is what puts you in front of the right facilities. You control your visibility and whether you’re open to offers.

Your availability is a simple weekly grid with four rows: Day, Swing, Night, and On-Call. Tap the shifts you can work, and use the On-Call row for the days you’re willing to be called in. You can also set the date you’re available from and mark blackout dates. Hospitals use this to match you to real openings.

Yes — messaging is built in. You and a hospital can go back and forth right in the platform, and you’ll get an email nudge when there’s a new message waiting so you never miss one.
